CLF Policy of Service Cancellation during Inclement Weather
December 7 (Monday) - March 31 (Wednesday)
Pastor Dave has announced that all weekly services and classes will be held. If, in the event of extreme weather conditions services must be cancelled, information will be announced on Mayville's radio station located at 98.7 FM and a message will be on the church answering machine. It will also be announced on WISN TV Channel 12. Please do not call the home of the pastor and/or teachers of classes.

It Takes 2 Couples Ministry
February 12 (Friday) - 6:30 PM
The Couples Ministry has started a new DVD series called, "Love and Respect" by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs.
Psychological studies affirm it, and the Bible has been saying it for ages. Cracking the communication code between husband and wife involves understanding one thing: that unconditional respect is as powerful for him as unconditional love is for her. It's the secret to marriage that every couple seeks, and yet few couples ever find. The group will meet on Friday, February 12, at 6:30pm for a special Valentine's gathering for teaching, hors d'oeuvres, and games. Please join us, and bring your favorite appetizer!

Annual Business Meeting
February 21 (Sunday) - 8:30 AM
Please mark you calendars for Sunday, February 21, at 8:30 am when CLF will hold its Annual Business Meeting and election for the Board. We will start with a light breakfast of coffee, milk/juice, pastries, and muffins down by the kitchen area after which time the meeting will commence in the sanctuary. Nominees for the CLF Board of Deacons are: Rachel Lescelius and Steve Plehn. We will look back at 2009 but, more importantly, we will look ahead to our vision for the future. All are welcome and encouraged to attend, but official members need to be present in order to attain the 51% quorum as required by the CLF Constitution and By-Laws.
Dead Sea Scrolls Trip to Milwaukee Public Museum
March 20 (Saturday) - 9:00 AM
A group trip to the Milwaukee Public Museum to tour the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit is being planned for Saturday, March 20th. The time is to be announced. There are 30 spots available to be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost of tickets will be $24 for adults; $22 for teens and senior adults (60+); $17 for children (ages 3-12 who must be accompanied by their parents). The CLF bus will be used at a cost of $3.00 per person to cover the transportation expenses. This is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as this exhibit is very rare.
