SPENCER LAKE 2010 CAMP SCHEDULE

June 21 (Monday) - September 19 (Sunday)

The remaining 2010 Spencer Lake Camp Schedule is as follows: Adult Senior Camp (Senior Citizens) - September 13 - 15; and SINGLE ADULT CAMP (30+) - September 17 - 19.

CLF Bus Schedule

August 18 (Wednesday) - December 29 (Wednesday)

WEDNESDAY BUS PICK UP: Juneau: - Juneau City Park - 5:30pm; Horicon: - Discher Park - 5:40pm. A completed permission slip is required for all Wednesday night riders.

Adult Bible Study

September 1 (Wednesday) - 6:30 PM

A new adult Bible study series began on Wednesday, September 1, at 6:30pm in Room #306W. It is a 12 session presentation titled, Downpour. He Will Come to Us like the Rain, by James MacDonald. The Downpour study is based on Hosea 6, which challenges believers to "return to the Lord" and offers promise of healing and restoration. So if you're thirsty for spiritual renewal, get ready to soak it in. It's not too late to get in on this study. Gracia Plehn is the facilitator.

It Takes 2 Couples Ministry

September 10 (Friday) - 6:30 PM

"It Takes 2" is a ministry for married and engaged couples. The next meeting will be held on Friday, September 10, in the children's ministry room at CLF. Come on Friday--we will feed you physically and spiritually.

Baptism Class

September 12 (Sunday) - 8:45 AM

Prior to being baptized, you must complete the one-session baptism class. The next baptism class will be held on Sunday September 12th. You may sign up for the baptism class by marking a "BC" on your Connection Card or by calling the church office.

Women's 2010 Silent Prayer Retreat

September 17 (Friday) - September 19 (Sunday)

Ladies! Our annual Silent Prayer Retreat is just 2 weeks away! Please reserve the dates of September 17-19 for a memorable get-away to recharge your spiritual batteries. Each of you can probably say you are overbooked and low on spiritual and physical energy at times. The prescription for this is a quiet place to communicate with your Savior. If you continue saving $14 a week, you will have enough put aside for the $110 retreat cost by September 17th. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the lobby. If you want to attend, please sign up and trust the Lord to provide the funds and time. You won't be disappointed!

Water Baptism Service

September 26 (Sunday) - 10:00 AM

The next baptism service is planned for Sunday, September 26th, at the 10:00am worship service. If you are interested in being baptized on this date, please mark "Baptism" on your Connection Card or call the church office.
